"Igniting the FIRE in your Heart to Dance"

Hello Everyone -

We first would like to thank each one of our N’Ferno families for your continued support of our business throughout the years and most definitely during this time of uncertainty. We at N'Ferno are committed to the health and safety of our students. In light of the recent developments as they pertain to the COVID-19 virus, we wanted to inform you of our current operating plans. Our plans are as follows:

  • As a facility that has less than 250 people on the premises at any given time, N’Ferno will remain OPEN till Wednesday, March 18th unless we are mandated by the government to close earlier. We are following the government’s guidelines and we will reassess this matter daily as we progress forward. Please parents use your discretion to make the best decision for you & your family as it pertains to attending class during this period.
  • Moving forward with the continuation of our enhanced cleaning protocols. This includes disinfecting frequently touched surfaces such as doorknobs, ballet barres, light switches, etc.
  • Requiring the use of hand sanitizer and the washing of hands for students and staff before, during and/or after each class.
  • During our classes tonight, Mar. 13th and throughout the weekend, we will be recording our class warmups, across the floor and center combinations, as well as our recital dances as we prepare for the impending closure.
  • On Sunday, Mar. 15th, we will be hosting some brief classes to finish recording some of our classes that took place during this past week. Please see the attached schedule for the list of those specific classes & their recording/class times. Each class will be 45 minutes long with a 15-minute transition between each class to allow for student dismal and for our staff to clean and disinfect in between classes.

IMPORTANT!! Our goal is to set up & complete all recordings on Sunday. If we have enough students in attendance on Sunday to record at this time, then we could potentially close the studio on Monday instead.

  • Effective Mar. 19th – Mar. 29th N’Ferno Studio will be transiting to online classes. We will provide a link to our class videos for ALL CLASSES. Students will be able to take part in warms ups, stretching and strength building activities, and across the floor activities.

The following classes will have a quick rehearsal this Sunday for recording purposes ONLY!  Please refer to the schedule below for your class call time.

Modern Youth Beginners (Wed. Class), Elite Company, Pointe, Modern Youth/Pre-teen (Mon. Class), Modern Pre-teen Intermediate (Wed. Class), Modern Teen Inter./Advance (Wed. Class), Pre-teen / Teen Hip Hop (Tues. Class) and Tiny Hip Hop (Tues. Class).

This was not an easy decision for us. Ultimately, it’s important for the children to retain a sense of normalcy during what is sure to be a very confusing time for them and we hope that dance can be an outlet and a safe haven for them in this moment. By developing these procedures, it will allow your dancers (our students) to continue to receive their training during this unpredictable situation.

We will continue to move forward with the next few days of our classes in the studio until we transition to our online class format. As always should you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email us.
